I guess it's a theme he's using called iGameboy, and he only has the basic icons so far. These are all icons for programs and apps he's downloaded for himself.

Now he's teeling me the icons are supposed to be 17x17, not 20x20. UGH.

I'd asume that using such a visual interface, skining is an option. even if its not in a real "oficial" way.
