my second try at an explosion, I always get bored/lazy towards the end, so it turns out scrappy.

This is based on my own memory of explosions ive seen that go BOOM then float upwards as the fire dissapitates

edit: got rid of wow and made transp. (with flash now)

Explosion is not bad but looks cutted in the top and the WOW looks weird.

Yup, the white background + wow has to go. And maybe some more vibrant colors.

If you remove the white and the wow, everything would be perfect ;)

Only the rising of the smoke isn't very realistic. It stays to wide and thick, and goes up too fast compared with the explosion.
