Stump-feet are a popular style on anime dolls - I have no problem with them honestly, toes would just look weird on something like this.

Atop of that, the hair sorta blends into the face and she has stumps for feet :þ

It looks cute but I agree with Tarenken it just screams NPA :(

I have nothing against using bases other than it's a tad lazy, but why all the colors? It screams NPA, or Tooled as you dollers like to call it.

If you need crit on this feel free to post it on Glam! and I'll crit it as a doll, but this is a pixelart site- we work differently.

he/she should just make the entire picture and not use a base.

It would make it waaayyy better if the entire thing was form scratch.

The point of this site is to get good enough with a mouse that you can

draw your own bases. Go post in the wip section.

Notice how everyone else is trying to get better, and they take the time required to

draw their pixelart  from scratch....

But, yes, 331 colours is over the limit...

I don't care what Metaru or anyone else thinks, I personally, I think this piece looks amazingly great.

the rules were clear in the submission page. no transparent layers allowed, and even if those colors were chosen by hand, the max color amount allowed by common sense is 255. but still, 331 colors is way out of any excuse. if you did it by hand, then you're not doing a good job if you plan to pass it as pixel art.

and no nitpicking going here, you're submitting your doll to a pixel art site. rules are diferent from a dolling comunity. keep that in mind.

also, i'd remind you that wish04 asked everyone to point when someone uses her base on the deviation.

Please do not lie to us. The part above her eyes is 9 colours. The area around her eyes has 113 colours. Her torso has 30 colours. Her pants have 181 colours.

Do not resubmit this again. If you need help you may post your WIPs in the forums.

331 colors picked and placed by hand yet you don't have the time to create your own base....

there are not partially transparent layers on this all of the colors were laid by hand, no transparent layers used. I do wish you would ask before assuming things

i'm sorry to say but we don't really allow the use of partially transparent layers, nor any automated tool such as Auto antialiased brushes. the reason is that we're focused on the control over each pixel in both placement and color, and the use of a partially transparent layer doesnt not only generate automatic colors but also defeats the purpose of said reason.
