I did nothing to the hair.

Notice that i changed the skin to include more red,
And that i also made almost all the colors have more saturation.
You can use warm and cool colors + low and high saturation to
help something look like it has more depth.
so like on a green color pallet you would go from sorta blue-green with lower sat
to a sorta yellow-green with higher sat, the blue green as the darkest color and the
yellow green as the highlight color.
Pretty good for a first try. You should slightly darker colors for the shaded parts so it's more noticible, particularly the face and the hair and have the light source coming the side, although in this case pillow shading isn't so bad.
