The reason why it runs at the same speed is because it lasts 1/100th of a second. You can't make it faster in iaza.
I just noticed that the animation ran well between 45 and 60 fps when looking at a preview in GM, so I was just wondering.
I used Unfreez and iaza.com for this.
Not sure if browsers will do it. Flash objects will run faster than a GIF, both are normally displayed in browsers. Flash's current version has a 120 FPS setting. I checked, and in FF this animation runs at the same speed. Does your program have a "no delay" option for the frame timing? I know Photoshop does.
I do not recognize them, but it still functions as an independent piece. It feels like lightning light or some strange electric game the two statues are playing, and sets a very nice mood.
Okay! You do see now why I wanted a high frame rate ;)
Do you think it's possible to make it run at 45 frames per second?
That's better. Why not make the bg flash, too? At least fix the awkward pause in the color flashing, I think it should be fluidly continuous.
The animation was psychedelic in some way. I've put it up.
The alternative frame rate would be 45 fps, but I don't think that's possible.
I've also posted the refs ;)
Are they made after Star Wars chars? 60 FPS is impossible in a browser. They simply won't do it. One tidbit of interest is that FF renders animated GIF's faster than IE, jsyk.
So far, there's nothing remotely psychedelic about them. Just do a haftone blur (like old mossimo sceen-print shirts) animated effect with maybe a zooming warp tunnel in bg.
I see horns on the green moai. Hmh ;|
what makes you think of dogs are the ears...
Recognize 'm? I like them a lot but they lok like a dog and a ... to me
Pretty cool somehow; the animation is interesting and I like the simple shading technique.
