@tomic: i actually painted this first then decided to put it into mspaint. it took more than two or three minutes. i sketched it from scratch, then pixelized it on graph paper, and finally put it into mspaint.i do appreciate the forwardness of your comment though. dont worry i'll fix this piece up just for you.

There are a lot of tutorials of the techniques you could use to polish this piece in the links and forums and a WIP section where you go to get some help and crits, I do think it would get approved without too much editing.

well, it's save to say that the white background alone is not the crucial factor in terms of getting approval here.

just that mspaint lacks transparency which i think is required for this to get accepted to gallery. aa would also make the head more round.

ive used graphics gale before, just have a soft spot for mspaint. thanks for the comment and advice! :D

I think you would benefit from using the free version of graphics gale - it has a loupe like graph paper and grid options. Anyway it's a really neato picture but would look better shrunk back to pixel size, it should have a transparent bg also- check the FAQ here if you don't know how.
