Well, it does look rather bland and boring to me, but then again I haven't been very interested in these kind of pixel art pieces. But I suppose it's decent for a first. =P
Most would just submit the single building by itself.
You used it creatively and that deserved mentioning :|
i think that being my first, is not so bad, and i dont understand your prop XD
All too often the first iso pixelart is a plain ole boring building.
I give you props for using that plain ole boring building in a creative way as to make for a nice looking scene.
