I had one of these as a kid, but Mom didn't like it. She said we couldn't keep pets so I tried to secretly keep him in the garage. Then one day he disappeared. Mom said he must've run away, but I remember there were some very suspicious pebbles in the driveway...

It's an entrance animation. I don't think anyone would get a sence of how it would appear if it were just looping. Say if I had made Onix and just had him stretching/scewing constantly like he does in the battle graphics, it would just look stupid.

I think it would be better if it were continuously animated. And I like the movement of the top of the head, but the lower jaw could be improved in my opinion. The rest of the animation just seems more.. dynamic by comparison. Dont let me get you down, though; it is good! But again, is it just me or is the pause in the animation sort of annoying?

Seems a bit over dithered for Pokemon style but it looks awesome. I like how you gave definiton to the rock. I like that animation, he's like "WAH WAH".

I really hated that boss in Mario Galaxy because I lost to it quite a few times -___-

Anyways, this one looks good. It certainly has the Pokemon feeling in it and really resembles much the boss from the game. Nice combination in my opinion!

I do not see the pokemonnessity in it much, nor I know that boss, but its really beautiful stuff! The rocks are all defined in a great way, and the eyes give it life!
