i especialy like the "facingness" of the statues and the gargoyl in the middle. they look at the viewer as if to say : "come in, joign us in the Underworld"...

I'm not to sure - you should ask the programmer. I had harsh times in life and had to quit the project... too bad, It was so effin nice ._. with a bit of polish it could realy have been the american Castlevania I believe....
and - I whish I had more of it, but apart from these 2 mockups and 2 that I submitted years ago, everything is lost ._.
The whole sourcecode is freeware by now I believe - NessiT the programmer got a website somewhere ( or did have) where you could download the tilesets. The tilesets got edited by several other peeps, so it's not realy 'mine' anymore, but thats' fine for gameart I believe.
Dude - I was blown away by the demo of this game when I played it years ago, but I see it was abandoned for some reason... will the world ever find out what happend to it?
Absolutely amazing though. I wanna see more of it!
the right sprite is not really readable, but still I love the scene. nice atmosphere
