it looks wonderful, love the animation and the colours. the thing inside there reminds me about an octopus

I love the fact that the liquid is yellow-orange(you don't see that color liquid too often, unless you're peeing, lol), that takes some creativity, though maybe its just because the creature is purple and so its complimentary ;P

The liquid really is lovely. It took me a while to realize the animation of the surface simply scrolls to the left - by making it two pixels thick the flow is all the more mesmerizing.

I dont know how its exactly considered a self portrait, but you used some really smooth animation there!

Still don't quite see how this is a self portrait, but hey, its awesome!! Maybe try fixing the preview though, as the rules for this challenge say that it has to be exactly 64x64...

I'd have done the same - if  (:3) sees himself this way, it's mighty fine.

ska, I added this to the challenge because at least I can see a face in profile quite clearly.

I know the rules says self-portrait and who am I to say (:3) doesn't see him/herself this way.

Since the rules did not say 'realistic' and because 4 other entries are not actually portraits either I wil override and put it back into the challenge.

An awesome piece, but by no stretch of the imagination could this be considered a self-portrait.
