I think the green tiles have parts which just go too bright, thats all.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure I like the floor. The green tiles are very busy. Also the lettering could be cleaned up. More shading here and there. It all looks very hastily put together. Just spend some more time on it and you'll have a great idea and a great execution of that idea.
