All great critiques, I may address them when I get home at some point just for completion's sake.  Can't edit the image after it has been submitted for the challenge though, and would hate to have duplicates in gallery so if I do I'll just link to it in the comments.

Appreciate all the feedback, and to be honest, it was all kind of thrown together more randomly than anything else.

Didn't have time to add any more major elements to the piece toward the end of the week so a normal background was out of the question, thusly I gave you disco zombie apocalypsofacto.  The lightsource issue was just a matter of tunnelvision on my part.

Pretty nice. But, the whole thing just seems random. Facial features are a bit wacky and there isn't an implication that a cartoonish style is the reason, so it just feels incorrect. Still though, I think the face is skillfully rendered. 

Neck bone is too light and is distracting as a result, pulls the eye too much.

Hat and face have totally different light sources, which has to be a mistake.

BG feels disco, yet there's a dark twilight colored dead zombie crazy eyed dude staring at me, so I don't know whether to pretend I'm one of his kind so he leaves me alone or vent my saturday night fever with some John Travolta moves.

My only crit is that with the bone sticking out from your neck, it would of been nice if the bottom of the neck wasn't so clean cut.

I realy love what you did with the background - and the Portrait itself is nice too ^^
