I made this as a tutorial a long time ago describing how a low amount of colors can go a long way.  6 colors for this piece - 7 including transparency.  I have an animated progress gif for this if your interested.

I'm interested!!!  Gimme gimme! nice job.  I'm gonna say favorites, just for a superb job with the limited pallette.  I'm not sure I like the animal's but, but the rest is perrfect.

wow, this is a minty piece, i just love it, its so nicely done, nice and smooth, i would def be interested in seeing how u have done the tutorial, i luv it great work with limited colors, just wow ^^
