Luckily there are quite a few good fictional images for referrence. And I just found another one of those! And it is a great one :). Wonderful animation work!
Hehe now that you mention it, I might have seen the air soft version
D: isnt vulcan miniguns just to be mounted in vehicles? i mean i read they where used in helicopters and stuff D: but no for personal use
i say becouse thats more or less what i read out there and i cant find any picture of real ones, just airsoft ones xD
They do exist! Vulcan gun m134! Look it up :P About the animation, I like it.. but it would be cool if ha changed his expression as the shhoting get's more intense after a while, maybe showing some theeth.
the military tried to develop it but becouse of the huge weight, the limited time they could be used (becouse of ammo and energy requeriments) and the insane recoil that could lead you to make holes in every one of your comrades they just forgot about it xD
they tried to develop it after seing predator, that was the first time someone came with that cool and insane idea :3
They don't exist? I thought they did, but they were just really impractical to use in actual combat.
Very good animation and character design... only thing is, I think his upper-body should be moving back and forth by at least one pixel... cuz his hair is moving (which is good), but his head isn't, so it looks a little odd.
Mmh, more recoil... but it's nearly perfect as it is.
the detail and artwork is great! i think the animation could use some easing in and easing out tho, add more individual frames as he begins moving it from both the start and end positions. particularily on the gun being pointed into position. before that though, you could also put more weight on the gun, make him HAUL it over to its ending position.
Great animation.I love how his hair jiggles.
I didn't know that about miniguns either....I guess I've been brainwashed too D:
nice work with that rotation!
