I think it's great the way it is. People aren't basing their crit on the context of the concept. It's supposed to be wacky. The same design principles don't always apply. It all works just fine together. my only complaint is that there should 1 more frame in the animation.

 Yes, background should be much darker, or much lighter. Bad scheme for the background.
