That Bumblebee movie design is one of the best designed robots ever in my opinion.  Not even remotely confusing unless you're someone who can only comprehend in the big blocky designs of the old show or the godawful bendiness of the crap Animated show currently on.

Anyways it's not a bad piece but it needs more refinement and definition.  Pixel art tends to be more about suggesting the details there rather than trying to cram it all in.  Or something, I dunno.

Haha, ThereIsNoCure, that sounds more like a critique of the movie art direction than the pixel art! I agree the piece is a little hard to read but I admire how much detail of that super-confusing design you managed to work in, ShakeandBake.

form is good, but it's all very difficult to read.  too much attention to detail and not enough attention to volumes, perhaps.
