I wouldn't recommend pixelling portraits.
Drawing in photoshop, painter or just pencil on paper is more expressive. Then color reduce. eg. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e199/sharprm/lint3.gif
This makes sense since your style is more GTA than chaos engine. Nonetheless yours is quite jaggie which you could clean up. An example of a cleaned up color reduced portrait [excuse the plug]:

Goodluck with the other portraits.
mathias- well there will clearly be more to the title screen, this is just the main focus of it. There will be more portraits too, just smaller.
Aw man, come on. More portraits, more portraits.
I don't see how this dude's face is a title screen, just an element in it I assume. I'll have to wait and see.
I-I've said it was the title screen before. If I do have portraits they'll be a lot smaller :P
Am I the only one that figured it out? Bhahahraharrr
Tuna, the finished product is very nice! Can't wait to see the other portraits. Wait . . . title screen?
haha we did a good job at messing this page up.
[img] tags don't work here, but appearantly HTML doesn't either.
Couldn't edit either so..

good god, finally it saw the light! :)
nice shading and very personal style. well done :)
Nightmare- well, the first bunch of them are REALLY old. I stopped for a while after that, then restarted maybe a month ago.
great application of critique, the end result is nice. but it really shows how a bit of anatomy knowledge goes a long way. do more studies, learn more anatomy, that way something like this could be replicated even without extensive critique.
Beautiful shading, loving the style.
Also, the wip is stunning, can't even believe that first step was actually a predecessor to the last result.
I like it .. its sharp, NOT antialiased, good definiton .. colour scheme ..
