I think the green matter needs more work (refinement) in quite a few places: for now I'm seeing a quick go with the paintbrush tool. I'd suggest you make less perfect circles and so on. Are the hands suposed to be touching the "bowl"? If so I would change the hand on the left (it looks like the character's placing his hand on a flat surface).
Very interesting idea and good execution.
Shouldn't the big toe be on the inside? Cool none the less.
yeah didn't even realize that, I just mindlessly started rendering it, I must have been really tired.
man this really should have gotten in. I don't know what definition of "scene" they're using, but it seems rather arbitrary. I love the billowyness of the matter he's suspended in - I'm not sure if it's liquid or gas or what! V. cool
I actually really love this, a simple silouette of atlantis or something in the background would have made this into a scene easy. I think it's just as entitled as the foetus pic.
To mee it seems like the right leg has the left foot on it?
Maybe im just squint?
Liked this from the first draft you posted, like it even more :D Especially with the text you added
Sorry Reo
Its just too much on the fence and Setzer's was disqualified for the same reason so it wouldn't be fair.
He sort of looks like Wolverine...this was intentional, right?
Nice liquid and palette.
I see no reason why this should be disqalified. It's both a thing and a scene, in my mind.
Whether it qualifies or not, this is pretty fricken sweet.
in his defence though, it should be said that scene and thing sound quite similar for chinese and swedish =)
nice bubbles and character. background looks quite rushed though.. a atlantis styled background, some sunken ship etc. may have made it more scene-ish.
*Staff meeting in progress*
Fish in bowl is a thing not a scene. A fish walking down the street to the fish neighbor's house is a scene.
Well since this was intended for a weekly challenged it was rushed...
