Bears :: Pixel Art Detail

Talk to the mods that approved the crappier works, it sure as hell ain't me.  We don't take handicaps like "this is my first/second pixel" into account, either.  I'm not saying it's bad, just that it's gigantic.  We'll let the votes decide.

and always provide any references used.

oh cmon, even crappier works have been approved on the site.. and its her SECOND pixel, i think its awesome someone can do this the second time he/she touches ms paint. 

far too large to have the amount of refinement required of good pixel art, I'd use maybe 1/4th that canvas size tops.

It's very good, I think the banding(AA gone wrong) gives it a blurry effect. I like the colours, but I don't think you can just 'downscale' the detail image for the preview. KUTGW.

actually its her second pixel ever, and she worked for it like 12 hours. I told her how to anti-alias and stuff. Its not converted, its fully selfmade with ms paint.

Does not looks like real PA for me. Quite jaggy lines. Looks more like hand-drawn picture, scanned and badly converted to b/w outline, or maybe manually traced in great rush, then slightly painted.

Pretty darn good if I'm a judge. With my most recent work (and first in a long while) I'd add more detail to the lines and hair, but the "clean" look works too I guess. Working on one piece for hours has driven me crazy though so Ima gonna shut up now I'd say 4.5 outa 7 but I have to round up 5/7
