Like for me it's really make me inspiring to create such game :)
not bad, good idea for certain devices
btw it maps easily to a 80x25 char screen, which would look kuk or really old school (VIC20), and not sure about 64 color text modes either
It does remind me a bit of some fancy adventure games from the 80's & 90's, or cut scenes from the same era
I now have a new idea for a game :)

the pixeling is nice, as to be expected from you, but such a tease. If anything this looks like a tantalizing preview image with a super let down upon clicking. Tell your friend to up the resolution so we can see you do more with the pretty artwork. :D

Reminds me more of a small Ads banner, umm how you call them, the ones to place on side of page, like 100 of them.
Do you have more tiny fonts examples?
I start working on such things and I have problem how I supposed to do for example "8".
