Uh...I think you should make the preview image show that it shows a section of one of the sprites rather than a squished up version of the whole picture...Also the two black figures are hard to see against your current background...Apart from that, nice :)
You can change current pic by clicking 'edit details'.
Oh, they rock! But a little more refinement would helped - there are some obvious stray pixels here and there and left character's foot is cropped. Also note how site's magnifyer (-|+) works, so if you want display many big sprites with more magnifying, it's better to place them one under other.
Yes, a pure black background is just as bad as a pure white...sending back for revision, for you to change this and resubmit when ready...
