Man, that link is trippy! Hah ha, my eyes keep wanting that picture to bend. So weird. But no, this was just my first pixel art piece, no reference, and I tried something quick and easy to test and see if it would be submitted on the site or not. Looks like it got in, and ever since then, the people here have been helpful and friendly...

I really, really like the cool op-art style backgorund. It creates a nice swirly effect. The character itself is pretty well made too. Nice one there.

Don't know..typical artist woes, you know?...You draw something that someone likes, yet you nitpick at something no one can see. It's a bad habit, but I'll try to fix it.

Don't feel bad. Insulting yourself will get you nowhere. And besides, this is a fantastic piece of character design (assuming you didn't rip it off of someone ). Obviously the mods felt it was good enough...why can't you?

At least make a background that's less hard on the eyes. I'd reccomend black. Besides the background, I like the idea and excecution of it, so I'm going to add it to my faves list.
