As for the face, I don't really see how it looks much more human than Ken's, but I'll see if I can do something about it.
I just noticed, you're using the feet thing the wrong way. If you count the "feet" on the left side, Ken is about 4'7" and Zangoose is 3'11". Not that relevant though
Waaaaaaaaaaaay too much sel-out, the lines look jaggy. Zangoose's face looks human.
I would love to assist in any way I can. I feel this is a style I could mimic with much success, I feel like if I helped make sprites that they wouldn't clash with yours, style-wise. I'll make some and you can tell me what you think. Otherwise I could do something else if you'd like. Message me anytime.
