yep :) its the reflection of the actualy purpose of the picture, the nostalgic feelings and stories that are told by the room
Well you did dither in the preview. It looks very nice with the right dithering. I have a question about this piece though. There are things in the mirror that are different then the rest of the piece. Is this on purpose?
I can understand that, it's often uselessly overdone, but the broken gradients in the shadows completely ruin the piece for me, at first sight.
Is there any other way? I'm just starting on pa myself so I don't know, maybe less zones and straighter limits?
7 hours is pretty fast!!! I wonder, if could do it photoshop at that speed and (!) quality!
ha i wanted to add a front part XD lol
but then i thought that its not sooo important as the eye catcher should be the mirror and so on, as it is supposed to say something
I like the mood! The front of the box stands out to me. Feels ... unfinished? ... maybe? I don't know. I love the piece but that part just catches my eyes. It almost looks like there is no front part, as if it just goes back into shadow or something.
Nice setting and atmosphere, however I don't really like the way you shaded the light and such. I mean, it possibly might be the only way to do it, but it seems so off. Especially the light from the windows on the floor, very pillow-shaded-esque(or banding, I dunno, I suck with pixel terminology).
Also, shadows should originate from the window itself, not from the light cast on the ground.
i like the fact that it isn't dithered. it gives it a wider sense of surrealism which i think looks great. awesome job on this piece. luvitt
I'm with slym, this would look better using less colous from the perspective of an pixelartist. 22 colours feels a little disoriented, and perhaps an colour transition? Other than that it looks very nice
This is amazing! I would love it if you dithered though.
HOLY FHUCK COW :o This is amazing, dude i wish i was you hhahahh :) AWESOME JOB! Fav'd
Lovely. Lot's of atmosphere, great set up and composition. I'm thinking that some sort of light/glare on the mirror would of been nice from the window. The little kid playing with the toys is creepy and wonderful at the same time.
great piece. Only one thing to note: the top part of the wall behind the mirror looks like a bit rushed, I would have worked on it a little bit more to make it more "gradual"
I shivered when I saw this, no lie. Colors are great and the mirror really looks...mirror-like. Even though (because of?) the reflection shows things that...aren't...there...
The box needs a shadow.
