@ramazing: I only examined the image, keeping in mind what the Amiga 500 can do. The color count of the whole collage is 45, but it's a high number compared to the actual modes you had at your disposal.
These shots are a tutorial to tile-making and HUD design in a memory-limited platform. Even the original fonts participate in setting the mood.

honestly, that stuff is more than 20 years old. thanks to those amiga fanpages i got a few screens of my old work. i haven't these graphics for ages... strange...
Wow, greatness. You can't go wrong with a screen-based directional shooter :)
The ingame screens are 28 colors each (I assume the 4 remaining colors are used on other elements not present here) and the cutscenes are 16 colors, excluding the signature (!)
