Just to get things straight, FLCL is the best anime, ever. FMA is a good second.
I feel a bit like his face stands out from the rest of the skin as it's differently shaded. And I agree that it would be nice to see the other foot. Other than that it feels just like the caffeine-pumped L we know of. ;3

The perspective is inconsistent between the torso and the leg(s).... It sorta looks like he only has one.
I love your sprites! The animation is kinda odd but the sprite is very well done!!!!
The legs don't match the torso in perspective, and this is making it look like he has one foot. The animation needs more frames, more movement in the feet, hands and head to better protray what he is doing.
I don't watch anime so I can't really give you a stronge crit on the shape of the character, but outside of that ver well done!
The colours are nice - but 'm not to sure what he's supposed to be doing....

Watch the weight. The head is ALWAYS over the feet. This way, he'd tip over.
