the characters seem too blended with background, u should improve the contrast. Other than that looks pretty cool.
I'm not really sure if the shading style(s) really fit with a Game Boy, as it looks like the things blend a bit, but it looks nice all the same.

what is so appealing about him? I've always wondered.

The character definatley needs to stand out more. But this is great all the same. I rather enjoy the 4 armed creature.
