it could be improved so so so so much in the pixel level, but myself i loooove the idea of the picture.
adri sums it up. if it's supposed to be about unimportant differences between others, then i think it important that those differences be obvious; the pieces of toast all look the same. hence, the only contrast you really get is cuteness vs. holocaust
It's definitely a strange reinterpretation of a toaster, but not having seen the original title nor the pile of toast which I guess was originally there, I don't find it offensive, just strange and sadomasochistic....
I am also wondering what differentiates the toasted toasts and the untoasted bread slices. they all have the same color.

K. I'll leave it up to the general population, then. I based my decision on the fact that nazi-related art has, in the past, been poorly-recieved, but if the community finds it acceptable then I suppose majority rules. Though, even after "looking at it carefully", I don't really think your intended perspective really shows through.
This doesn't offense me either, though I'm German. Nice idea, looks good, but the shading at some parts of the picture could be improved

i don't think this will offense german members (like me), probably even more descendants of victims.
anyway, i like the idea of a different look on daily stuff. maybe you should just take the H-word out of the titel and/or descriptions.
Alright >.> But If you look at it carefully, it's actually making fun of how dumb it is to kill one of oyur own kind due to a slight difference. Usually toast, it shows how silly it is. I'm not making fun of all those who died but it's a lighter way to look at a dark situation and reflect on history.
