Wellllll - I did this one based on my own interpretation - read the book when I was about twelve (which is to say three centuries ago!) and he was described as being disfigured as if acid was thrown in his face - so I went with gory, red and....well...gory!
PS: If I knew how I'd totally portrait Gerard Butler and leave the ickyness out!!!
