Well Cait, sedgemonkey is right, when you use a base, you do edit it to your own style. I definatley woulda thought it was your own ^.~ I love the hair as always, the way you do pixel art always gets me.
@ ehwhy you're right i forgot to add shadowing under the hair over the shoulders =o. ty. haha
@Di0xygen: what i usually do with bases is actually MORE complicated than using lineart so yeah..you're welcome to dislike bases but dont dis em around me =p. The -only- thing i left the same on this base was the silhouette or w/e. i redrew and reshaded the face and shoulder myself. So image a lineart..but w/o any of the detail lines within the outer line.
Very nice. The only problem I can think of is that the color of the hair blends in where it overlaps the shoulders. The colors on the wings, the AAing on the speech balloon and the cobwebs all work well.
What I meant by the lineart statement is that she takes something rather simple and goes her own direction almost to the point where the base is unrecognizable anyway.
im not very fond of bases, but you pulled off this one very well, nice style, very realistic, very creepy too. the shading is very nice, subltle should i say

Beautiful! I just think the ears are a bit confusing (looks like they join in the back) but it's cute a lot :^)
