Wow that is great! It looks like a 3d render cleaned up - I really like the volumes of the teeth and books. I think the black outline for the light bulb might be a bad move though.
I confirm. I'm italian, and when i was young, my grandma told me to put my tooth under my pillow, so the tooth mouse will take it during the night, leaving money for it.
Nice drawing! I like it! It has a "childish" feeling, i think it's really nice!
Ahh dude you make some great stuff, "door to even deeper in hell" was my favourite. I recon if you polished this up youd be fighting the top guys :D Still great either way
You are right. The bottom book was missing a shadow. I added it. Thank you :)
Still looks a bit weird. I kinda messed up the shape of that book... not going to fix it :P
Wonderful scene, I didn't expect anything like this for the challenge. However, some of the lighting doesn't seem consistent with the lightsource, especially that bottom book. Regardless, this is a great piece =D
This piece has a tremendous potential, please work on it some more!
Your main problem is light: the foreground and right side, being further from the light, should be much darker (and that would make it look more mysterious too); the parts nearest to the lamp (mostly wall) should be much brighter, almost washed out.
If that means anything to you, lighting is proportionnal to the square of distance. Twice further from light source = 4 times darker.
Also, teeth are not shiny plastic: they could use a little dithering.
Last, the cables and the slab (what is it?) they are coiled around could use redrawing.
Yeah, in France too, we used to put teeth under the pillow, for the 'petite souris' to come and swap them for a present. Maybe this is one of mine!
