LOL! Never once thought of you as a conformist! I kind of like the sparkly-ness - very girly! As for dithering...a trap I love to fall into!
Sorry... I must indefinitely hate this piece due to it's basis off Twilight.
Vampires are not supposed to twinkle, kthxbai. :D
(But the actual piece is pretty good. Overdithered, though. ): )

I really like the feeling that's created here with this piece. It's got a lot of potential, but I have to agree with Skamocore about the dithering. I bet the piece could be really awesome if you worked on it some more :)
Thanks - I did the piece from memory after seeing the movie - so the movie is the reference? I loved the lighted gazebo - think I mentioned it in my WIPS. I know there are issues with the light but I enjoyed playing around -

This is from Twilight, right? Was this taken from a specific scene? If so, it's probably best to provide some kind of reference, if possible.
About the piece itself, firstly, I think you really need to tone down the dithering. If you aren't trying to create a texture or give the illusion of an extra colour, then it is probably best to not use dithering. Also, the lighting in this doesn't seem right, it looks like there are lights surrounding them, yet they are only lit from the left. You probably should clean up some of the lines too, the characters appear a bit blobbly and some of the lights seem a bit haphazardly drawn.
Anyway, good effort; I can tell you have a lot of potential, your stuff just needs to be a bit more polished. Keep working on it.
