Gather around, this is one long story: Oh sweet lord i swear i love TF2 but i have never been arsed to play it, ironically. i just love so much the artwork and the charming characters that i really admire how valve managed to put such a vibrant and delicious vibe to every single element to the game. Now on topic, I was comissioned to do a Scout with his bat a few days ago. certainly i was going to do something simple and for the first time i was going to attemp to do a pokemon trainer-esque sprite. but that idea got quickly. its was a huge meh, and i really wanted to make something more unique. out of ideas, i closed the game and grabbed my head thinking about what could i do. and then, that golden line from "meet the scout" came to my head... and then, just like when Dr House discovers the cure to AIDS by playing the Xmen song in his guitar at the end of every episode, i realised that Ness was lthe scout's lil' brother. like a hurricane with a female name, the inspiration carried me away furiously and i just stopped to do other stuff and answer a call, i think. until it was finished. i have to say, thanks to Dazz and Mozzy for their feedback, and i got inspired on JarJar(Anubis here) recent works. i know this particular pixel has some mistakes and other wrong stuff that i couldnt bother to fix and such, but i just cant get myself to work on a purely technical piece and started to give myself so many liberties about stuff like proper lightsources and such... i shouldnt drink plutonium-based energy drinks before submitting stuff, wananananana~♪ ~~PS: oh yeah its the C64 palette~~ its not

I left some of the features of the scout off since i wanted to make him look more relaxed, henche why the non-tucked shirt and the lack of gloves.

about the palette... to be honest, i realised its not. when someone somehere else asked me what is a C64 palette, i went to google to get a sample and noticed its completely diferent from what i have labeled as C64.pal on PSP ( this )

I think you're missing some of the features that make him a scout. I didn't even realise I was looking at a TF2 scout until I saw the description. I did a quick google seartch and the TF2 model has less baggy shorts and a tucked in shirt with a belt visible.

One more thing, is that really the c64 palette? Where'd all the greys go?

I must say, I enjoy TF2 pixel art and I hate all the new childish updates for the characters. Keep it simple Valve!

Anyway, the only thing that bothers me is the Scout's hat. One of the sides look too blocky.

Looks real neat m8, I love the expressions on their faces. One thing is that Ness' head should be bigger and rounder. Otherwise funny and amazing stuff =)
