There is something kind of charming about this piece, I like it. However, it would have been twice as good without the twitchy, "animation", and just left as a static image. If you are using the selection tool for animation something is very wrong. Also, if you would have put some thought into the spine, and prevented her back from being a twisted wreck, it would have been better as well.
Well, like said in the description, for first attempt animating, not bad at all; but I would have re-drawn areas rather than using some form of selection tool to just move things, as the method you used makes the animation very jerky and un-natural... but very nice, nonetheless! :D
Oh man, you have the same ideia as me... :( and I already submitted mine. The piece needs a little work, the colors are bland.
Hmmmmm. I agree with the eye comment I'm gonna fix it right away. Thanks guys for the comments.
I love your style :) the only thing i am not fan of it is that her right eye seems a bit bigger than the other. Amazing job with her hair!
I'm not the greatest fan of chibi style, I'm afraid, but putting personal quirks aside, I like how you've analysed emotions as you drew the character, and good job on one of the things I find impossible, lips, so kudos on that! I'm not so sure about the 'sparkles' around her, but they're ok as they are. Main critisism from me is that you've added tears to attempt to implement sadness and desparation, but she seems more as though she is so happy she has to cry. Then again, that could link to gratitude. I'm loving your gallery so far, keep it up! :D
I listened to what peoples have said and replaced the animated with the still. I hope people will like this more.
