Kind of sucks... but i cant say that its complete sh*t. It has still style and the colours youve picked are great.

Thank you guys for commenting. This was actually some old background I tried to use in a game months ago and I modified it a little to make it look acceptable.
Also, thank you for telling me which things need to be improved, you are right about every single one of them.
(Lol, about the big building corner, the original idea was to have some sort of a flat thing which makes the building look more interesting, but I guess it didn't quite work out. Perhaps with more colors and shades one might see something in it.)

i think it works pretty well overall. Only crits could be maybe to brighten the stars/windows and darken the buildings to bump up the contrast.

It'd be interestign to see it scrolling with some mega-man-ish foreground :)
