I used Your picture in Minecraft, if You don't mind.
very nice, soft and pleasant design and the overall atmosphere -- achieved with warm color choices and a saturated palette. . . . . if only the technique was applied with a little bigger dose of subtlety. . . keep it up; peace!
I really like this, her face in particular, but on a technical pixel level you've got some problems: poor or non-existent AA in some spots, banding, wasted colors, etc. I really do like the whole feel of this piece, but this is a pixel art gallery, so I figured I should comment on the pixel-specific issues.
Yeah, I see I'm getting a lot of feedback about the black. I'll not make my outlines too dark next time ^^;
I'm rather fond of her tan-liness, though. XD
Thank you for the CC! ^^ :makes note not too make outlines too dark next time: Thanks, also, for pointing out the anatomy issues. I don't think I could come back and fix this piece right now, but I'll def keep those in mind for my later works.
Thank you again!
Ahh... I didn't see the jaggy edge of her feet. Thanks. I think I missed that when I was antialiasing.
Right now, I'm too tired of this doll to fix the hand - but thank you for your CC on there. I'll put that in mind for my next project. :)
The black looks odd indeed : ) and i think her skin looks too tan
Besides that, that piece is great, i loved the colors, and the 2nd light source is really well applied
Nice design.
You might want to becareful of how you use the the black as it is very harsh/jarring in places such as around the neck on the left, the patch on her skirt, her left hand and some of the shoulder area. The fingers on her right hand (the on holding the glass) look a little strange - as if one of her fingers are broken as it goes up in an angle. Also, because of the way you have styled the hair, I'm thinking that you should maybe be able to see her ear on the right as the leftside ear is being covered by the hair.
The stripey bra design is really cool:) Good luck in the contest.
Interesting style, I like the graininess of it, and the secondary blue lightsource. The right hand, however, is a bit odd position-wise. I can't personally replicate the positon. Try, perhaps, extending the index and middle fingers and making the thumbtip visible on (our) left side of the glass. The AA on the legs next to the border could be polished a bit too, looks a little jaggy.
:P Oh. Wonder why I didn't think of that.
Thank you, though. ^^
you can thank everybody in one comment by saying @______, thank you! or something =)
nice work though, deff. your best
:P I have an obsessive-compulsive urge to thank people, I guess.
Thank you too. XD
Whoa thats a whole lot of thank yous haha!
Great pixel.
Thanks. I know I could have used much less colors but I was too lazy to bother with it, I guess. :P
XD It was for a contest where I had to doll a certain character. I had no choice but to put in the mole.
Not my type of character... however, putting down my preferences aside, this is really well done. Congrats. :)
Nicely done... I don't know if I'll ever use more than 100 colors but you did it and it came out preety good.
xD Thank you so much! lol I know (and did notice) that I have hand anatomy issues. Better work on that for my next project.
Thank you.. :)
I'm not really one to limit my colors, though. I like adding as I go along. :P I think I could have significantly reduced the colors had I not used so many for my antialiasing, but I don't feel up to going back and change that. xD
Looks good!
Too many, too close colors maybe? 64 should be more'n enough.
And, it opens with a black background on my viewer '(viewer's fault not yours): it's nice too.
wow, she is gorgeous! I love the style and the palette, even if it is huge! I don't like her right hand though *the one not holding the glass*
otherwise, awesome job! 5 + fav'd
Beautiful
