He likely doesn't know what dithering is because of its name, not the actual technique. But, the rest you say is probably true.
I noticed the two images were flipped as well Solitude, i was about to post that. I noticed it first from the darker cloud at the bottom left which has been flipped and pasted then realised the same thing has been done with the rest. This isn't bad itself, but in the description he says he spent 8 hours on one piece and 10 on the other. Did it really take hours to flip some images while it took 10 to draw the entire other piece?
Also, you say it's done on MS Paint.. The sky gradient is definitely not done on MS Paint, it looks like a gradient tool from a different program which makes me more suspicious.
You also asked someone what dithering was the day before you uploaded this pic here: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/42829.htm and somehow managed to master the technique that same day :|
Hmm I can't seem to edit my previous post. Just to clarify what I'm writing about. I'm talking about the two images he posted. "Beautiful world, isn't it?" and "Beautiful view, isn't it?"
Strangely enough, this image and the other image submitted has the same horizon but flipped. The other image has the same cloud on the right side as this image has on the left side, except flipped of course. Plus look at the two little hills on this image and then the other one. The other image just has the mountain with the building cut off, whereas this image has the bottom part of the image cut off.
It almost looks as if this may have been taken from some kind of 3D type program? I can't say that for sure of course. But the two images do look the same and are flipped.
Strange how the version of the mountain that "someone copyed it and taked the credit" actually goes further to the right than the "original" seen above. Almost as if both were taken from a larger image originally.
Pixel-Janz, your reactions to the accusations people have posted do not give the impression of an innocent artist ("SO, Can you please stop wining all the time???"). Surely you can see why members have become suspicious? You posted 3 low quality pieces followed by 2 vastly improved pieces with "NO WIP, NO COLOURS".
If you want to clear your name, I would spend another 8 hours on a new piece and this time, SAVE THE WIPs. Of course if you have been lying, this will be difficult.
Has an enchanting feel to it, but the dark cloud edges break the bubble.
I am still not thinking you have made this. Especially since you stole a part of it. However, I do believe that you made the clouds, because the difference of the quality of the clouds and the rest is very big. Another big reason why I am doubting you made this is your preview image. Your preview text is pretty amateur compared to the actual image.
About you making the other pieces in "2006 - 2007". If you had low quality images from a long time ago, submiting them 2 - 3 years later is unusual. That will also make me wonder what happened with 2008 and the beggining of 2009, because the earlier ones were submitted.
Another large doubt is the quality of your avatar v.s. the quality of this image. Why would you have a lower quality avatar with a gallery with images like this?
"Have you stolen my picture!?!? Howd it get there?? Has someone copyed it and taked the credit? Im getting pretty mad with this..."
That does not sound natural at all. I am highly doubting you really mean that. Not to mention that here you state that the one image is yours. Later you say that that one image isn't yours.
"Im sorry to inform, but... IT IS MINE! When do you people stop??? I have used that part of picture in some other pictures. A friend of mine is creating a game that uses that part. SO, Can you please stop wining all the time???"
People will be "wining" because stealing a picture is largely looked down upon here. Your posts after people found the stolen image are seeming overly dramatic and unatural. Let me say this again, not to mention that here you state that the one image is yours. Later you say that that one image isn't yours.
A lyer can only tell the same story for as long as they can remember it. Most lyers will change the situation/story, as you did above.
I am not trying to be too severe, or angry towards anyone. I am just stating a point, a doubt, and my personal opinion. If you did make this, then congrats.
[edit]: Please let me add in that the clouds are different. The foreground clouds are your clouds, the background clouds are ripped.
The important thing is that YOU like it and liked making it - it is beautiful :)
Im sorry to inform, but... IT IS MINE! When do you people stop??? I have used that part of picture in some other pictures. A friend of mine is creating a game that uses that part. SO, Can you please stop wining all the time???
Far right side of the image is beautiful, minus the clouds infront of the rock. The one behind it is nice. Sadly, it seemsl ike the far right side isn't even yours.
look at the dates on when both this peice was put up and when the other one was put up. whta ever one came first i would say is the original.
in my own time i play around with hotoshop and illustrator alot, and i can tell you in the save options you can choose to dither the image this image has the exact characteristics of that tool. some pasrts remain not dithered enough while others have way to much dither in them. this is a big indication.
me I do not know I found this in a forum I have anything has see pictures with this but or it is you who had plagiarized or it is the boy who was in the other forum which plagiarized you?
Have you stolen my picture!?!? Howd it get there?? Has someone copyed it and taked the credit? Im getting pretty mad with this...
I think that very it is creations splendid are of plagiarism because in this work I have already seen your mountain in a forum and I had kept it in my files: here is picture

Thanks thanks for the comments and advices. :D
Stop telling me the habbo thing. I know. I did put a habbo thing here... but not on purpose. It was in a old folder of mine and it was allready done to look like an avatar. I was a habbo fan once and in the past i made all kinds of habbo stuff :/ It was named: ``My greeny avatar``, or something like that in the folder... SO i thought it was mine. I dont visit habbo so i dont know about it so much.
And the couds... Yes they are a bit odd, but i made them pretty dark bcus i thought that the clouds is a big part of the piece.
And the works... These two newest work are made in 2009. And the other work waaaay too back. I think it was 2006-2007, when i sucked in pixel art! :S So WHY do you keep asking me these questions? Here are the answers to your questions....
Youre welcome!
I'm sorry, I don't think that there is any way in hell that this was made by the same guy(unless the first one was made like 3 years earlier then this).
This first piece shows a really bad use of color, lighting and shape, were in this piece the mountains show good knowleddge in both colors, ligth and shape...
And don't give us that ''but I made the other one in 15 min'' , If you know how to pixel this good, then it wouldn't have all those problems...
also I doubt that this was made in paint, since I suspect something like a dither brush/gradient has been used.
I'd give you the benefit of the doubt were it not for that stolen habbo thing you submitted.
Phtocopier is right, this is way better than your previous work. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though..
seconding everybody about the clouds, but what bothers me more is the gradient fill patterns, most notably in the sky - keeps me from pressing that 'yes'- button at the moment
but really nice composition.
why are these 2 so different from your other work? the time is different but they look like they were done by different people
just about to say that i didn't like the clouds. it's the outlines and the harsh contrast that make it weird. soften up the colors and don't outline them. some of them don't really make sense for the composition either. otherwise i love the rest of the scene, just work on those clouds.
Not a fan of the clouds, not sure why. But i really love the mountains and especially the little city on the top of that cliff, amazing stuff. The whole panoramic view? If thats what its called, fricken love that
I'm not in love with the clouds, I think because of the gray-ish, but the blue ones are really nice and those mountains and city are delicious.
You really dont give up. Just look my second last comment of the picture: Beatiful world, isnt it?
