Toys for cats? xD
I have a cat and i bought him a little rat toy...
and now he's playing with it all day.. lol
Lol! They're cute 'n fuzzy :) Also make great toys for cats!
@Manupix
I also like the other earth better - will try to fix in time. I think I'm going to keep the mousie reflection as is, as he is very close to the visor and it almost creates the idea of Neil being a mouse too...on a very LOL level!
Thanks for all the input :)
Much better!
Just 2 more li'l things! ;-)
Earth is no longer round; and I think I liked it better before (bluer, better clouds) but this is debatable.
Mousie reflection should be much smaller than original. See how the reflected moonscape looks minuscule in photographs.
@Skamocore Changes list
The stripes on the text and its background make the text hard to read. CHECK You're still diterhing in areas that don't need to be ditehred. The hand and the bottom part of the suit almost looks like jpeg compression due to so much dithering. CHECK
There seems to be too much AAing on the mouse's wings, but yet, there's no AA anywhere else in the image.
CHECK Due to the curve of the visor, the mouse's reflection should be more distorted. CHECK
I think the starts in the top left should be less evenly spaced. CHECK
@Manupix checklist:
The wings look wrong - kind of CHECK ; Maybe the Earth should be more towards the top, it might make a more balanced composition, and not interfere with the mouse. CHECK
Thankx guys
Thanks - I've made some changes - moved earth, lowered the dithering levels (slightly LOL), also changed the wings - not too happy with them but that's as good as they're gonna get!
Thank you so much! I will tweak away - am working on the wings. Using eagle-wings as they are very expressive and they match the apollo 11 badge. I'll make the text solid and have a look at my dither-itis...I am still afflicted...like a bad cold that doesn't want to go away! LOL!
Thank you for the positive input - glad you can see an improvement
Definitely an interesting concept :P
But some other issues that Manupix did not highlight:
The stripes on the text and its background make the text hard to read.

Other than that, this is a great improvement over previous works. I'm really digging the atmosphere in this. I think this could be an amazing piece with a bit more tweaking.
@Manupix
Thank you for the c&c really detailed and very constructive! Thanks on the suit - was the most difficult LOL! The image in the visor is indeed a distorted version of the little mouse (I was lazy so there's not too much detail - more a suggestion of a reflection. It is not the focus of the piece so I left it). Then there is the issue regarding the wings - am looking at anatomy sketches of wings to see what goes where - if there's time I'll change it otherwise I'll edit it next week and re-post. I don't like the way they look either.
The little string - well you see, cheese is sacred on the moon and it is forbidden for any of the flying mice to touch it directly for fear of contaminating the source...hence the ceremonial string attached...lol!
That's cool!
The spacesuit is quite convincing, though I don't understand what I see in Neil's visor: is it the mouse's reflection?
The wings look wrong; I would not understand the piece of string without your caption (maybe the mouse could hold the cheese in its paws?).
Maybe the Earth should be more towards the top, it might make a more balanced composition, and not interfere with the mouse.
Cool...my hamster and cat have a sadistic rital: she plays with him while he's in his hamsterball and he bites her ears while she sleeps - kind of a love-hate relationship!
