Er, it does have shading and glowing. Try zooming in maybe..? I dunno if I'd make anymore, I made this guy a long time ago, it'd be kinda hard to go back :P
The sprite needs some shading from the main light source, then an ambiant glow on the cloths from teh power. Other than that, I really like the animation and woud like to see some different kinds of spells and teh actual spells themselves.
