Yeaa, like i said. Needs improvement. I know that, i rushed it because i was tired and had other things to do. Only took about an hour on it. I plan on going back and touching it up if i have the time. Even if the contest ends.

The flag looks like you just used the circle tool and didn't bother to fix it up or add aa. the guy himself looks pillowshaded and rather assymetrical. you should focus more on volume and form.

The flag could be a bit smoother :x
