I agree about the contrast. The cape bugs me the most. Maybe you could use that really dark shade that outlines the cape to add some depth in the folds?
But this is still awesome nonetheless! I was actually really hoping we'd get some awesome gold and/or red items to match that Champion Crown, and this popped up! WOO! XD
It is very well shaded, you should just up the contrast some more. But I like this style, well done.
