Thanks for the comments everyone! I'll be surre to try selout on my next piece.
.. about the piece...i also think it could benefit from removing the background, also it looks rly bulky right now, swords, at least legendary ones, are mostly kind of elegant and delicate and have decoration on the handle, like reliefs and stuff, pixelart is quite awesome for doing decorative ornaments, so try to be a little more creative on your design, also the colors look a bit unnatural, too creamy imo
heres an EDIT .. too show u stuff that can be improved also coz ive never done a sword before ^^
"selout" or selective outlining means that you dont just put a black outline around your objects but instead try to apply some shading to your outline, by making it bright on the light side and dark on the shadow side, by doing so you can manage to make objects look more realistic, with a black (or dark) comic-ish outline it often seems like a collage
heres a quick tutorial
Great improvement! Don't forget anything you have learned, and keep up the good work. You better apply some of your new-found knowledge on your future pieces. Look forward to seeing them.
I say it'd look nicer by itself with a transparent background.
Nice sword i woted yes, but you can make a background so the sword is better to be seen.
selective outlining, well couldnt find a tutorial on it, so made a quick one myself, on what it is.

edit: not that selout doesnt have to be the same color as the sphere.
I see what you mean... It's just that a plain black outline looked really odd against the hilt. BTW, what's "selout?"
ill give it a yes because i know what i was like at first, and how much you have improved it,
you can see clearly tho, why an outline would've been adviceable, as the left side of the blad is hardly visible at this moment.
see? now things improved a lot man... keep it up.
