ur welcome ^^... did you use a screenshot/picture as a palette? maybe it was a jpeg file then, jpg distorts the colors a lot
O.o! Did I use that much colors? But I've only been using the EyeDropper to get the colors from the palette and pencil the image. Pixen software got bugs? Hmm..
Nevertheless, thanks onek, your comments are very valuable tips for me and the re-designed is alot better than mine. Thanks =)
hey, this looks actually pretty nice, could be a cool alien spaceship or so, but theres also a lot to improve, you shouldnt use outlines that are more than 1 pixel wide, especially for curves , that makes your lineart look jaggy (example), .....use your darkest outline color only for the silhoutte of your object not for the inner parts, and also try to apply some kind of shading to yor outlines, thats called selective outlining, with this method you can manage to give a realistic look even to rly small pixelworks.... another thing is the choice of colors, u have to select them wisely and its common to use 3 shades only for most colors, that would be dark, medium and bright, i counted the colors of this piece wit photoshop, you got way more going on than in your palette, like 30!!....only use colors from ur palette....
just for fun heres an quick edit to show u stuff to be improved http://i992.photobucket.com/albums/af45/oooonek/air-gun.gif
Nope, didn't use any pictures as palette and I uploaded a png file.
I've tested the community software Pixen, the eyedropper doesn't always get the correct color, that's the reason why my image have that much colors that are almost the similar. That eyedropper is the culprit. haha =)
