32 colours is insane for something that looks so monotone. I think the dragon could benefit from having his lineart cleaned up a bit and i agree with the HUD. Great so far though :)
I agree that there should be a HUD but it still looks cool without one.
Though the color count is very high. It could be easily cut to 16 without noticing.
i think this would benfit from adding lifebars and stuff to make it look more like a actual game, also i think it would be nice to let your sprites cast shadow on the wall to give it a more dungeon-like feel... also you got way to much colors going on, ... since it already looks gameboyish you could maybe try using only 4 colors, thats how much a gamboy had...
