It is not just you.  Everyone seems to think they're an expert.  Monkey see, monkey do mentality.  I've heard the term 'elitist' a lot on other sites about pixel joint.

It's no particular dinosaur, but inspired by a t-rex/raptor.  The big head was intentional.  That's why I call it Bitey.

I'm guessing t-rex, but idk. The heads seems a bit big, and he isn't long enough.

Looks a little sketchy, you could clean it up a bit. Good design though.
