i dont very like these colors, but the style and the description are very funny :D
I'm the last person who should complain about color palettes since my last couple of pieces are way up there but it doesnt look like it needs that many colors- with that amount I would think that you would be aaing it but there doesnt seem to be any. I think that using if you used already existing colors to smooth out some of the edges it would greatly improve this piece. The whole thing, while very well done, appears rather washed out imo. I would make the shaidng on the center cat especially darker as well as some of the other things. If you added a faint purple to the darkest of your blue palettes that would probably take care of the washed out look.
Still a fantastic piece with lots of interesting things going on!

Great work, but you should write true number of colours.
This is quite a purr-fect piece you got goin' on here.
The limit of color for the competition is 64 so I use them.
i dont know which program ur using, but if it is photoshop (...which rules imo)..., it is very easy to reduce your colors....
just choose "image" > "mode" > "indexed colors", then go to "palette" and choose "custom", now you can easily sort out the colors that arent needed by pressing ALT and klick on the color patch...

@tomic: Yes, you are right. I've used gradient because I'm lazy to make a BG... but I have to repair it.
@onek: It's the transparent layer that I use as many colors.
well, i really liked the stylish + experimental stuff you've uploaded in the past. but i've got some problems with this one actually as some parts look like resulting from transparent layers (controversial, i know) and - more importantly - because of the gradient dither patterns in the background.
rly nice piece, love the overall design and the energetic feel of this, but i think the color count is way too high, maybe 32 or even 16 would do it, also i like the colors of your latest WIP in the forum more .... you have some jaggy lines here and there, and some aa would be nice too, maybe you should still rework it a little, then it'll be win!! ^^
