You were using a cop-out and he called you out on it. I see no crime. Also, there wasn't a hint of sarcasm in his post.
Don't let your feelings get in the way of improving your artwork. He gave you valuable advice, you took it the wrong way, and no one benefited. Listen to advice, steer clear of exuses, and remember that retaliation, whether in response to real or imagined malicious remarks, is never the best path.
Im not saying there wasnt any help. My point is that he could have put it a different way. "Was it *really* jaggy on purpose? I highly doubt it." Did it need to be put that way? No. He could have said something like "well in my opinion i dont think it was really meant to be jagged. It might look better if you do something like this *link*" See the difference?
I think the comment wasn't so much unhelpful! At least there was an information about challenge rules.
And you haven't changed the transparency yet.
Theres also NEVER any need for sarcasm. The help would be nice, but not the way he put it.
He made a cocky and sarcastic comment, that doesnt really help at all. Just downs me.

Was it *really* jaggy on purpose? I highly doubt it.
There is a lot of banding in this, as well as, what seems to be reverse AA - that is AAing to a lighter background than you actually have.
Also the rules call for no transparency - "Transparency - No."
As you have mentioned, you do still have a week, so why not continue working on it for the next 5 or 6 days.

and yea eye needs work. Still got a week, calm down ;).
Maybe you could work on this pixel piece a bit more - some of the letters seem to be a bit jaggy.
And I think the punctured eye is neither very well done nor match very well to the rest of the picture. :x
