Oh, good point.  After looking at this again, I think an even darker background would suit this much better.

He can't increase the canvas size as the challenge rules call for no more than 100 pixels in height. XD

It would look much better with more glow and contrast.

Very nice.  Not to simple or complex.  Just perfect. 

Maybe increase the canvas size
