Except the colors, that is... but I won't say more, I'd hate to have you start yet another version! ;-D
Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm really glad I got this pic sorted to a much better level than the previous attempts (I had a colour version, which Jal and a few others commented on the weakass over dithering - then did the same scene in the grey and blue, where it was then commented on - the water effects 
). All of them took so much damn time to do because of my slow pixeling speed!
@ DawnBringer - The restriction isn't that bad as it's 5 greys, 2 blues and a white. The only time it became a problem was when it came to rendering the water.
This is just amazing work..and only 8 colors! A lot can be done with a little. Great job~

So, what's the story here, any specific reason why you restrict yourself to 8 (unsual) colors here? Anyways, cool creation.
I think it's fine as is. Great job, and I love the smoke effects and water...
The cyan on gray looks nice. I like the somewhat scribbly appearance of the waves.
