The background is great, but I'm not really sure abou thte skin texture above the mouth.  The lightest shade seems to be evenly dispersed, which gives it a kinda flat look.  You might want to take a look at this work by Fool for some ideas, since it seems to have a similar sort of texture around the head.  Still, great work!

Cool background. Maybe since on a bright bridge, light should be reflected back onto him a little in shadow area ?

The best advantage of this piece is the skin textures, and the idea is quite interesting too. Too bad you haven't made a background (a cave would have been perfect).
